What CFC/PAS Covers: Supports for Daily Living
CFC/PAS is a person-centered program that provides hands-on assistance and support for activities essential to daily life, as identified in the individual’s Person-Centered Plan. Our trained staff deliver assistance across two main categories:
1. Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
These are fundamental personal care tasks required for self-sufficiency. Our caregivers provide respectful assistance with:
-
Mobility: Moving around the home, transferring, and positioning.
-
Eating & Feeding: Assistance with meal preparation and consuming food.
-
Bathing & Grooming: Support with showering, hair washing, skin care, and dressing.
-
Toileting: Help with using the restroom and managing continence needs.
2. Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs)
These supports help individuals manage their home and participate in community life:
-
Housekeeping: Light cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe and sanitary living area.
-
Medication Assistance: Reminding and assisting with self-administration of prescribed medications.
-
Meal Preparation: Planning and preparing nutritious meals.
-
Shopping & Errands: Assistance with grocery shopping and essential errands within the community.
-
Health Maintenance: Routine tasks that are essential to maintaining health.
